I know, that word "cheap" can have a negative connotation. I can hear the retailer mantra "it's not cheap; it's inexpensive" already. I'm not saying this wine tastes cheap. I tasted it this morning and it certainly does not. For the quality you're getting here, though, the price is downright cheap. I said it and I stand by it. The regular price is far higher, but we get deals and we pass them along. We've already got a sharp sale price, but another dollar off won't hurt, will it?
Here's James Suckling's review:
"Lots of dark berry, licorice, mint and terra cotta aromas. Full body with fine tannins and a balsamic and dried berry character in the aftertaste. Real balance and drinkability to this. Drink or hold."
Here's the wine.
