These Chilean Cabernet Sauvignons are really taking off, and with good reason. There are plenty of high quality examples for very reasonable prices, and the style generally appeals to the California Cab crowd, with the Chilean versions sometimes having a bit more restraint.
Here's one that we bought on a temporary deal and looked plenty good to offer to you all. The deal we took advantage of was only good for one day, so once this inventory is gone, so is the price. We've got a lot of customers who like this style of wine, so it might not stick around for long.
Here's the review:
"Vivid ruby. Highly fragrant scents of redcurrant, dried cherry, pipe tobacco and candied rose. Lively and precise on the palate, offering appealingly sweet red fruit flavors and a touch of cracked pepper. Finishes tight and nervy, with very good clarity and lingering spice and bitter chocolate notes."
